So last week, our fridge broke down and needed replacing ( is 13 years a decent lifespan for a fridge or am I the only one suspecting programmed obsolescence? )

Back to more creative home cooking, putting in a bit more of an effort, some would say 😂
Birthday cake for our girl!!! Pandan coconut crêpes stack, with coconut whipped cream filling and toasted coconut. A family classic.
Road trip cooking often means improvising with what’s on hand, using up leftovers, repurposing about to be stale items… to delicious results. Like this cauliflower bread salad, made in our GX during our latest trip to South Australia. Because no one likes waste.
Birthday week just ended!!!
A week of cookbook testing from my favourites, shortcut cooking and nostalgic feast.
I hope you all had a lovely Easter holiday weekend. Ours was very quite, most of the family was away and we organised an impromptu Easter Friday lunch with the small contingent still around. It was simple: cheese platter, Mac and cheese, seafood.
